Chinese character
A Chinese character or Han character is a logogram used in writing Chinese, Japanese, sometimes Korean, and formerly Vietnamese.
The number of Chinese characters contained in dictionary is approximately 63,000.
Written styles
There are numerous styles, or scripts, in which Chinese characters
can be written, deriving from various calligraphic and historical
models. These characters were used over 3,000 years ago.
